We recently added perfect binding to our bindery equipment list. This machine is highly automated and produces top quality perfect binding in whatever quantity we need. It will run up to 400 books an hour but is quick enough to set up that we can run just a couple books up to 10,000 or more. It will bind up to a 12.5x12.5 book and thicknesses range from about an 1/8" up to over 2" thick. This machine also scores the covers automatically in four places. The inside pages are ground for better adhesion, then inserted into the scored covers. This is an excellent way to finish off your short run books. It also works great for short run digital books.
